Botanical Staircase Elegance - Luxury Floor Covering

Brook Farm Interiors was commissioned to enhance the character and flow of a family home in Ashbourne through the installation of bespoke wallpaper and tailored stair carpeting.

The staircase, a key architectural feature of the property, was transformed with a carefully fitted carpet runner that softens the space while complementing the warm timber balustrade and handrail. A subtle herringbone weave was selected as a luxury floor covering to add texture, durability, and understated elegance.

A beautiful botanical wallpaper was introduced throughout the stairwell and landing, bringing depth, movement, and visual interest to these transitional spaces. The organic design creates a gentle sense of continuity between floors, elevating the staircase from a functional thoroughfare into a considered design feature. Thoughtful colour coordination ensured the wallpaper, carpet edging, and existing joinery worked in harmony with the home’s natural light and period details.
